Pistris
-
Thank you for choosing a timepiece from the Pistris Collection.
Every Pistris watch was created as an expression of color, material, and character. Natural stone dials ensure that no two examples are exactly alike, while exotic leather straps and the collection's distinctive rectangular silhouette give each reference an identity of its own.
This manual contains the information necessary to operate, wear, and care for your Pistris timepiece.
We invite you to wear it well—and make its time your own.
-
The Pistris Collection consists of five references, each distinguished by its natural stone dial and exotic leather strap.
Model-Dial-Strap
Pistris Lapis-Lapis lazuli-Blue stingray
Pistris Chrysocolla-Malachite-Green crocodile
Pistris Marmore-Howlite-Black shark
Pistris Noctis-Nero Marquina-Black shark
Pistris Ignis-Rainbow stone-Red stingray
Because stone is a natural material, variations in color, veining, pattern, texture, and mineral character are expected. These variations are not defects. They are part of the individual character of your watch and mean that your Pistris dial is naturally unique.

Dial
Natural or decorative stone, dependent upon reference.

Exotic leather, dependent upon reference.
Water Resistance: 3 bar
Water resistance is not permanent and may diminish over time as seals age or after the watch experiences significant impact. Maison d’Aphelion recommends periodic inspection if the watch is regularly exposed to moisture.
Because Pistris watches are fitted with exotic leather straps, unnecessary exposure of the strap to water should be avoided regardless of the watch case's water-resistance rating.
-
The Pistris Collection uses a minimalist two-hand display.
The shorter hand indicates the hour.
The longer hand indicates the minutes.
There is no seconds hand or date display. This intentionally restrained configuration allows the natural stone dial to remain the visual focus of the timepiece.
-
Your Pistris is operated using the crown located on the side of the case.
To Set the Time
Gently pull the crown outward into the time-setting position.
Rotate the crown in either direction until the hour and minute hands indicate the desired time.
Gently press the crown completely back against the case.
Always ensure that the crown has been returned fully to its normal position after setting the time.
Do not use excessive force when pulling, turning, or pressing the crown.
-
Your Pistris is powered by a Swiss Ronda 762 quartz movement.
Unlike a mechanical watch, your Pistris does not require winding. Electrical energy supplied by its battery powers the movement.
When the watch stops operating, the battery may require replacement.
Battery Replacement
Maison d’Aphelion recommends having the battery replaced by a qualified watchmaker or watch service professional.
Opening the case improperly may damage the case, movement, seals, dial, or other components.
A depleted battery should not be left inside the watch for an extended period, as battery leakage may damage the movement.
-
One of the defining features of the Pistris Collection is its use of stone.
Stone possesses characteristics unlike those of conventional metal or lacquered watch dials. Although protected within the watch case, it should still be treated with care.
Avoid:
Severe impacts or drops
Extreme temperature changes
Prolonged exposure to excessive heat
Strong magnetic or electrical environments
Chemicals, solvents, cosmetics, or cleaning agents contacting the interior of the watch
Natural inclusions, veins, markings, and variations in coloration are inherent characteristics of stone. They make each dial individually distinctive and should not be interpreted as imperfections.
-
Your Pistris strap is made from genuine exotic leather selected specifically for its corresponding reference.
Leather naturally changes with wear. Over time, your strap may develop variations in color, softness, texture, or patina. This is a normal characteristic of natural leather.
To preserve your strap:
Avoid prolonged contact with water.
Avoid swimming, bathing, or showering while wearing the watch.
Avoid perfumes, lotions, oils, solvents, and cleaning products.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat.
Allow a damp strap to dry naturally at room temperature.
Never use a hair dryer, radiator, or other direct heat source to dry the strap.
Store the watch in a cool, dry environment when it is not being worn.
Do not aggressively bend or fold the strap, particularly when new.
-
For routine cleaning, gently wipe the stainless-steel case with a clean, soft, dry microfiber cloth.
If additional cleaning is necessary, use a slightly damp soft cloth on the metal case only, then dry it immediately.
Do not immerse the watch for cleaning.
Do not use abrasive cloths, polishing compounds, household cleaners, solvents, alcohol, or chemical cleaning products.
Take particular care to prevent moisture and cleaning products from contacting the exotic leather strap.
-
Although quartz movements are highly reliable, your Pistris remains a precision instrument.
Avoid exposing your watch to:
Strong magnetic fields
Keep the watch away from powerful magnets and high-intensity magnetic equipment.Extreme temperatures
Do not leave your watch for extended periods in environments of excessive heat or cold.Severe impacts
Avoid dropping the watch or wearing it during activities likely to subject it to significant shock.Chemical exposure
Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetics, chlorine, and other aggressive chemicals. -
Your Pistris should be treated primarily as a dress and everyday lifestyle timepiece rather than a watch intended for aquatic activity.
Even where the case provides resistance to incidental moisture, the exotic leather strap should not be regularly exposed to water.
Never operate or pull the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.
If the watch experiences significant impact, has been opened for service, or shows evidence of condensation beneath the crystal, discontinue exposure to moisture and have the watch inspected.
Visible condensation beneath the crystal may indicate that moisture has entered the case and should be addressed promptly.
-
When not wearing your Pistris, store it in its supplied Maison d’Aphelion packaging or another clean, dry, protected location.
For extended storage:
Keep the watch away from direct sunlight.
Avoid excessive humidity.
Do not place heavy objects on the watch or strap.
Store the strap in a natural position rather than sharply folded.
Keep the watch away from powerful magnets.
If the watch will remain unused for an exceptionally long period, consult a qualified watchmaker regarding battery removal or replacement.
-
Quartz watches require relatively little routine maintenance, but periodic professional inspection can help preserve the watch over many years of ownership.
Service may include:
Battery replacement
Movement inspection
Crown inspection
Case and seal inspection
Water-resistance testing, where applicable
Strap inspection or replacement
Only qualified watch professionals should open the case.
Unauthorized modification, improper repair, or damage caused by unqualified servicing may affect warranty coverage.
-
Your Pistris contains materials created by nature rather than manufactured to perfect visual uniformity.
Variations between individual watches are therefore expected.
Two Pistris Lapis watches may display different concentrations of pyrite or variations in the depth of their blue. Malachite naturally forms distinctive bands and patterns. Howlite contains characteristic veining. Nero Marquina possesses naturally occurring mineral variation. Rainbow stone may display considerable differences in coloration and pattern.
Likewise, exotic leather varies naturally in scale, texture, grain, and pattern.
These characteristics make each Pistris individual.
Your watch is not intended to look exactly like every other example of its reference.
That individuality is part of its design.

A watch measures time, but its meaning comes from what happens while you wear it.
Your Pistris was designed to become part of those moments: work accomplished, places visited, people loved, milestones reached, and ordinary days that become important only in retrospect.
The stone in your watch existed long before it became a dial. From this point forward, its story continues with yours.
Wear it well.
